The Graveyard Book
“The boundaries are always there—between the graveyard and the world beyond, between life and death, and the crossing of them.” - Neil Gaiman
Neil Gaiman has, according to reviewers, done it again. Gaiman is known for his chilling tales, his ghostlike wonders, and his mysterious narrative. Like his infamous Coraline, which broke him into Young Adult Literature, The The Graveyard Book
will manage to capture more young readers.
The book is magical, humorous, and attaches a bit to the history of Kipling’s The Jungle Book (Unabridged Classics).

Interesting, although I guess I’d have to read Kipling’s Jungle Book to fully appreciate the references… I always enjoy seeing writers tie into other works.

Creepy! I was very into the Goosebumps books growing up and this sounds a tad more frightening than that- good for Halloween!

That book sounds interesting. And I think I’m the only person on the planet that doesn’t like Coraline.

I love Neil Gaiman books too, though I wasn’t aware of his branch into the younger market…

Who can resist scary stories as a kid - whether by a campfire, at a sleep-over, or by reading scary books?! :) This sounds like a good one.

I think I’ll read this. I’ve read Coraline and liked it even though it was creepy.
